Your adventure begins with a comfortable pick-up from your accommodation, whisking you away to the serene Cretan countryside. As you arrive at the first charming vineyard, the winemakers will greet you with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the rich history of Cretan wine. This is an informative tour of the vineyard and winery, learning about the unique grape varieties and traditional methods used in Cretan winemaking. You will be able to appreciate several types of wines from the winery assortment of the most famous wineries of Greece: Paterianakis (Small Old Local Family Winery - 5 organic wine tasting) and Lyrarakis (The most World-Famous Cretan Winery - 5 wine tasting). You can immediately purchase samples of wines presented as part of the wine tasting in the wine cellar. As the tour comes to an end, you'll be comfortably transported back to your accommodation, hotel, or apartment. Upon special request (free of charge), we could transfer you to any point in the Heraklion City region for an additional stay. You will have a newfound love for Cretan wines and wonderful memories of your tasting adventure.
