About Ierapetra
Ierapetra is the southernmost city in Europe, located on the south coast of Crete. The city enjoys a warm and sunny climate almost all year round, with more than 300 sunny days per year.
Unlike the noisy tourist areas to the north, Ierapetra retains its authentic Cretan character. Here you will find a picturesque fishing pier, local markets, family restaurants and an impressive Venetian fortress.
The city also serves as the departure point for trips to Chrysi Island, a small and exotic island with stunning tropical beaches and crystal-clear water.
